He is a vendor of the 5VBTP trading program that attempts to predict prices
sometimes far into the future. He did have some accurate hits, but, like a
lot of vendors, would conveniently forget or paper over the bad calls. He
became the man who could rewrite history! MB posted the code to the whole
5VBTP system on mif and on this list, I think. It would be available from a
dejanews search.
Calhoun used to post on misc.invest.futures and was incredibly abusive to
most and in particular, to anyone that even dared to ask him a question. I
think that charitibly, you could call him psychotic.
Calhoun or his company has recently run afoul of the CFTC for advertising
violations. He was saying in his advertising literature that the CFTC had
found his system to be all that he ever said it is. The CFTC was not
amused. New vendors take note: do not use the CFTC in your testimonial
section without their permission. I'm surprised that he is still
advertising.
