But which is cause and which is effect?

I don't think big accounts make winners.  I think winners make big 
accounts.

Newbies usually start with a small account, and usually blow it out.  
They might come back several times with a new small account before 
they finally give up, or figure it out.  Then, once they know how to 
make it work, they build up their accounts, and probably don't close 
them all that often.

IMO all these account studies are flawed in that respect.  I don't 
care how many *accounts* are losers.  I want to know how many TRADERS 
are losers -- because there isn't a 1-to-1 relationship between them.
