Re: TS2K - works

i don't consider ppl reporting software problems as bashing, especially
when they're not the usual suspects ;))

ok, a few questions.....can you load 1.5 million 1 min s&p bars
(unlimited bars, as advertised) and run a simple optimization run on a
recursive function in a reasonable amount of time and without crashing?
i have a real need to load and run backtests on this much data. what's
the largest number of bars that anyone has loaded and run a backtest
on?

like you, i don't need to collect every symbol out there, only 100-150
or so in real time. but i need assurances that the gs won't go belly up
in the middle of a trade. also, large delays are unacceptable too. i
know some of you are not having problems, running crash free for a
while. so, what is the secret to your success, whether one runs it on
nt or win98?

what kind of systems are you running? simple or complex? i have a need
to break the 64k code limit barrier (again, as advertised) and run
fairly complex systems. i also see ppl having problems with running
system code greater than 64k. this concerns me.

what about global variables? this is another need i have. is a global
variable module planned for release anytime during 99 in a sp?

what about mixing tick and bar charts? again, this is a very critical
need of mine. at least there's a workaround with deming's global
variables product.

i'm just asking some sensible questions and hoping for a few reasonable
answers.
