Hi Guys,
does anyone have any influence at the CBT..Neil Weintreib??..
have just sent them the following message...while it did not
originate from the Dale Carnegie school..i hope someone there
might listen
any thoughts..or doesn'y anyone trade this contract

Dear Mr Lemond,
have just had an error trading TNOTES to day as a direct result of the
incompetence attatched to the changes in the tick size of the TNOTE
contract...and my incompetent efforts to find a solution.
you have effectively changed to 64ths in the 10 yr notes
as in 5year notes so why not quote in 64ths.....
computers the world over can handle fractions and they can handle
decimals but they are not designed to handel a STUPID combination
of them both....
wire houses...your MEMBERS..are unable to send these orders
over the wire..they are having to manually place them....
surely someone there lives in the real world and should be prevented
from making changes to the trading style of these contracts which can
then cause enormous difficulties to interested parties who use the
contract the
world over.....FCMs.CTA.s,Data vendors , quote vendors etc
