This is a long shot, but I might have your answer.

The chart in question, looks like a daily S&P chart.  On my intra-day S&P
charts, if I have any index symbol, such as "tick", "Prem", anything like
that I will get a gap for yesterday.  If this is your problem, then go into
the server and delete all ticks for 7/5 on those indexes.

I rebooted my PC earlier today (but after the markets opened) and I'm still
seeing the gap in the plots.  My holiday list showed 5 July 1999 was
already in there.
