you would still have the same problems of data locked into a
proprietary architecture. i love cqg's ticker plant, but charting is
not useable for system programming. fs has ya locked into either ts
version xxxx or their charting thingy (wasn't it called a ts killer at
one time?)
that's why a traderware/quote.com combo "could" be a killer platform,
but that still remains to be seen. that's why i'm hanging on with ts4
and bmi, to see how the trading software scene pans out this year. with
so many choices, something will surely rise to the top. besides, i'm
only getting a 1-2 sec bmi delay on the s&p, so i don't care if the
indices are late. los is a trade saver, though.
back to bmi problems.....the volume symbols are getting hit hard again
with bad ticks since tuesday of this week. it got better, then it got
worse. what gives bmi?
and jim mazz, the e-mini tick vol is fine here. dumb question, but is
your trade vol (store last and trade volume) in the ts4 server toggled
on? don't know about the "other" one <g>
