I would seriously question the authenticity of the CSI message.

Bob Pelletier is the owner of CSI and has a lot to loose by
presenting himself in this manner.  He isn't a dummy as the message
implies so I wouldn't get too caught up in this until there is some
confirmation that he really did author the message.  The email
address shows it comes from, Rudi,  the Customer Service supervisor
and not Bob Pelletier adding to the confusion of whether it is
genuine.

CSI has been around a long time and has provided good data for a long
time even though their customer service organization is not
performing well right now.
