All very well if you have a DOS prompt; NT4 doesn't.

Subject: SSI_ACT SETTINGS TEST

Just talked with Omega. There is a simple test that can be done to
determine your optimal SSI_ACT setting for your computer. Here is the
process:

Go to the MS DOS Prompt and type the following:

CD\OMEGA\PROG\DRIVERS\NT

Then type in SSIACT

Press <Enter> when prompted

It should say, "testing........Activator found"

Wait for a minute and you will get the best setting

Exit MS DOS PROMPT

Go to START, RUN and type msconfig <enter>

Click on autoexec.bat tab and edit your SSI_ACT setting.

Save it, exit and reboot your computer for the new settings to be
present.

Good Luck,
