I wonder if anyone can help me with a problem that I am having with TS
not recognizing the security block.
First, I use TS4.0 and did not have this problem when I used it in my
last computer -- a Compaq, Pentium processor, 166 MHZ, with Windows 95.
I recently upgraded my computer and now have custom-built one with an
AMD K6-3 processor, 400 MHZ, 128 meg RAM with Windows 98. Ever since I
did this, when I load TS, I get a message to install the security box
with a "retry" option. After repeated and rapid clicking on the retry
button as many as a dozen to 15 times, it suddenly loads the server.
Then I go through the same exercise on the charting component -- and it
also then finally loads. BTW, the printer works fine -- off the same
parallel port. It continues to work fine with the old computer.
I have tried to reload TS from scratch into the new computer -- and it
has not helped solve this problem.
Does anyone have any ideas on what is causing the problem -- and what,
if anything, I can do to resolve it.
