Pretty much.  George Angell's LSS book builds upon Taylor's stuff and is
more readable and oriented towards today's markets.  Just be aware that the
LSS book is heavily oriented towards S&P 500 daytrading (although the
concepts can be applied elsewhere).

If this topic is your cup of tea, then I would get both.

Both.  No doubt, Angell would be happy to sell you a mechanical system for
several thousand dollars (I've seen the ads). On the other hand, if you're
just looking for interesting 'concepts' that can be applied in a
discretionary manner, it has the potential for that also.
