Bottom line on TS2000i is does it work or does it not? Work
means all the stuff that worked before is still working.
Right now it doesn't meet this requirement as per all the
bugs reported on this list by the guinea pigs who have
already "upgraded". It is nice that there was "discussion"
Pierre, but talk is cheap. I am sure you will agree with me
that the creation of new product flaws with a product
"upgrade" is not acceptable, period. The product should
never have gotten to SP2 without getting the basic functions
working. It should still be in beta, and only have been
released when systems worked, upticks/ downticks worked,
data plotted correctly etc. Basic functionality should never
be compromised by a desire to release a product.

I say this because of the looming deadline that Omega has
set to either upgrade or pay up (more). This type of
strategy is not a way to endear customers to a product or
company. If there were something working right now, I am
sure that you would see a mass exodus from Omega products to
the new product. The reason is simple: treat your customers
poorly by releasing beta or alpha software, and the
customers will jump ship when the next thing comes along. At
this point the If is just a matter of when.

End of rant.

I do not know for SP2 ( not yet received) but there was a
discussion on how
to calculate up and dn ticks vs unchanged.
