Expo has very extensive time-series capabilies and has powerful
programming abilities - even menues can be programmed. The only
problem is that it is based on the Tcl/tk user interface which comes
from the Unix word. This can be sometimes a bit cumbersome. Even
arranging windows can be a pain at times.

This is why this tools is propably only suitable for very mathmatical
orientated traders and not people who punt away on gut feeling. A
further problem is to get the data into Expo since it only has
interfaces to institutional platforms. The easiest way is to use it
on top of Bloomberg for single user solutions.

You should try their free student version which has all but the real-
time capabilites.
