I have used MetaStock before and I was quite impressed with it. The programming
language MetaStock uses is called "Formula Language". I found MetaStock's
language not to be quite as powerful as EasyLanguage. Equis is now owned by
Reuters.
I have to admit one reason I tried MetaStock is due to the corporate
headquarters being about 30 miles from where I live.
I did return the product after the 60 day trial and I could not have asked to be
treated more pleasantly, plus their tech support is great.
Also, Equis lets you know up front that if you ask them to write formulas for
you that you will be charged. I was having trouble with some code once and I
emailed their tech support department, with the code, and they replied back the
next day with the corrections I needed and I was not charged. I'm sure it would
have been different if I asked them to write it from scratch though.
