Hi Klaus,
Yes, I've worked with Stowell's patterns in the past. Some of them do
set up some very nice trade entries at times. Although, my work has
since shifted to day trading T-Bonds, so I don't look for them as
often as I used to.
I found his Cup & Cap patterns particularly effective.
I spent some time trying to code them in EL, and as simple as it seems
on the onset, I found them extremely difficult to code. I would love
to see someone with greater EL experience give it a whirl.
The July '95 issue of TASC has a good description of Cup & Caps on
page 75.
Consider it a challenge!!!
