Does anyone know has Omega set a date for a build or service pack on TS
2000i? It took me four days to get 2000i to run and another week to get
it to run without fixing something all day on it. My trading has
dropped to nothing, I haven't had time to trade and the trades I have
made were left unattended and all losers.
I love TS 2000i it does some things I really wanted, but it is very
different than TS 4 below the surface. Tech support has been very fast
to answer my questions and most suggestions fixed the problem. I've
learned things about NT I really didn't want to learn. The monster is
running well now.
I do thing fast and this gets me in lots of trouble on computers and
with programs, so my delays in getting 2000i to run properly are mostly
my fault. Example, I got a new computer to run 2000i with dual
processors, so I had to have NT. It only took me one day to completely
destroy NT. It took over a week with Dell's help to get it to run
again. I did the same with 2000i. I do think, as I told Bill Cruz,
that better documentation is needed to get the program running. As Mr.
Allen states in his posting its doesn't load and run the way the
instructions state. It does work however.
Suggestions: If you have NT be sure you are running SP4 if other
windows OS
be sure it is running the latest Service pack.
Be sure your pages are set 300 to 400
Call Omega to lead you through the setup, if they
will.
Don't kick the dog or beat the wife as it will jinx
you.
