Re: Dual Processors ?

I run TS4 b21 on a dual 450MHz PC under NT4 with 512MB RAM.
Obviously, it works very well with so many resources at its disposal.

However, I was surprised that I do still encounter limits - for instance, I
run a big number-crunching database in Access97 and the two apps are really
not happy running together: they both run very much slower (not just
half-as-slow as you might expect).

Also, it appears to me (though I may be wrong) that some apps are better
than others about using the 2nd processor. If I start some apps with the
processors already at 50% utilitisation, utilization doesn't jump but the
apps already running slow down.

I've never had a memory problem.
