If anyone has TS2000 up, please answer .
How many percentage data slots available in the "Support/Resistance" drawing
tool?
In TS4, you can find this out by taking the steps as follows:
1. Click the "Support/Resistance" icon and draw it anywhere in a chart.
2. Keep this S/R as an active drawing item, i.e. you should have the Position
Box
showing on the two opposite corners.
3. Click the Format on the menu.
4. Click the Selected 'Support/Resistance Lines'.
5. Click the Properties.
6. In the TS4, it should have 12 percentage data slots available for inputs.
I'll be very disappointed, if TS2000 offers less than 12 data slots.
Thanks, Hank
PS.
In my trading, I take the advantage of using all these 12 data slots to do the
price
projections. It's a very powerful tool. The default is only using 3 of them,
61.8%,
50% and 38.2%. This only shows the potential retracements between a pair of
High and Low price bars. In fact, you can do a series of price projections
outside
the boundaries of the recent Highs and Lows if you know how to put the
ppropriate percentage numbers in the remainning 9 data slots. I'll be glad
to share with anyone who is interested.
