Hi Ed:

I've attached the Andrews ela for tradestation. It is NOT
the Clyde Lee code, though I will contact him and ask his
permission to post it here for you. This code is by Greg
Wood and was recently posted on TradersGroup list by Tom
Cruckshank.

I believe Dynamic Trader is roughly $1695 currently. That is
a good chunk of change. That being said, it does offer the
very best selection of Andrews tools currently. Second would
be GET--and it's very nice to have real-time expert drawing
tools.

FibTrader is a very good piece of software. I use it as well
for my day trading--but I don't use the Andrews drawing
tools--Get and Dynamic Trader tools are too good for me to
use anything else for that.

Precision Trader...I don't like programs that purport to
draw the lines for me. Guess what? I think I make better
decisions. That being said, the price isn't bad if you can't
buy some of the other better equipped drawing programs.

If you are going to learn about Andrews techniques, I think
the pitchfork primer [Gordon, I think his name is] is a very
good place to start. Look, there are other people out there
that teach it but Ron J, for example, is gonna ask you to
plunk down (take a breath) nearly $3000 before you even know
if you are compatible with Dr. Andrews techniques. I say
learn what you can about it, then decide how to spend that
hard earned money to further your education. IF you decide
you like the techniques after taking the less expensive
course [the total pitchfork primer course is about
$300...]...you'll know enough to decide how to spend more
money on education.

Let's see...the trading list I recommend is not RT--Alan
Sears runs a very good private trading list. It isn't for
everyone. There's about 200 or so people that subscribe at
$50 per year and there are at least a handful of people that
trade for a living and a few special traders that share
their analysis [I mean special because I think their work is
classic--Joe Dinelli, Joe Duffy, Ross Clark, Alan Sears, Al
Unger--ther's more but that's what comes to mind as I type
this. To see what the list is like and get a free thirty day

If that fails, email Alan Sears direct at: asears@xxxxxxxx

Last, we have web pages there that traders update with
techniques and code and there is now a web site devoted to
Dr. Andrews' techniques--though it is relatively new, it's
slowly becoming a nice set of pages directed at general
information about Andrews/Babson techniques, and more
important, actual trades are diagrammed using Andrews
techniques--I haven't seen anywhere else where you can go
and see how a professional trader uses Andrews techniques on
30 and 60 minute real-time data to trade Bonds, for example.
The web site doesn't sell anything, will never sell anything
and we solicit questions and comments. And because there are
other traders in the group that also studied with Dr.
Andrews, errors and myths are quickly pointed out.

If anyone has any questions about Andrews techniques or
would like to see some information/trading examples either
privately or posted to the Omega list, let me know. I have
nothing against people charging for their services--But I
perfer to give help for free when I can, as a thank you for
all the people that have helped me in the past and continue
to help me now.

Best,

Tim Morge
