Since my announcement of a TradeStation user group forming in the
Ventura/Santa Barbara area, I have learned that one exists in Thousand
Oaks. I was previously led to believe that the closest user group to me
was in Los Angeles. Now, Thousand Oaks is within driving range for me -
however; several of you have responded with interest in forming a new
group. If a significant number of people are interested in a group that
would meet in Ventura or Santa Barbara, then I will continue the
creation of a new group. I, of course, would prefer meeting in Ventura.
However, if meeting was chosen in Santa Barbara - I am fairly sure that
my employer would provide a meeting space for us in their facility -
which is near the pier in Santa Barbara. I would not be willing to
venture further south then Thousand Oaks or further north then Santa
Barbara.
An Omega Research representative has stated that there are approximately
20 people in the target range who have expressed interest in a Ventura /
Santa Barbara group.
