i disagree. usually house rules prevail, such as in the case of margin
minimums. some houses require more than the exchange min, the rest are
happy with exchange min. same goes with t-bill rules and rollover
policies.

best thing to do is to inquire beforehand before opening or moving
your account. get all of the house rules upfront in writing. brokers
are a slippery lot, so beware out there. when in doubt, always ask
questions. if they refuse to answer them to your satisfaction, move on.

if the t-bill thing bothers you, move your account. brokers are a dime
a dozen, so do your research carefully. remember that small accounts
(less than $50-100K) don't carry the same stroke as the large accounts
do, unless they know your trading style and experience level.
