re laptop/infrared port

Omega list--


Thanks to all the great wizards on the Omega list for their rapid and
generous assistance to us in our hour of need installing TS on a second
laptop over a conflict with the infrared port. 

Impressive community action, detailed, accurate and helpful. 

We're fixed and up anad running, turns out that a software chage made it
work: changing the setting ASSIACT setting to 50,50,50 made all fine. 

Many, many thanks for the suggestions... we're OK now.
