Has anyone had a problem like this? I am collecting data on the nearest
contract month but incomplete on months farther out. Omega says it must be
the data (BMI satellite) and BMI says it must be settings in the TS server.
I'm caught in the classic third party dispute with no solution.
For example, Dec99 contracts on the server in some cases have no data, some
have some data but not all days collected, and some have all data. This has
been going on for some time. All data collection settings are for 500 days
of daily and 90 days of intraday data and the contract is started 12 months
out. Every symbol has normal data collection for the nearest contract. BMI
says that all data is being broadcast.
It isn't just that there are no transactions for that contract that day.
For instance, have there been no transactions in 1999 for DX9Z or HG9M or
JY9Z? The nearest month collects everyday for these symbols but nothing for
these particular contracts.
I first discovered the problem when changing to a new contract. I would
find that there was often only two months of data. I kept thinking that I
must not have had the contract on the server. When I finally kept track,
that was not the problem.
Anyone have any suggestions?
