Yahoo messages mention an insider purchase by Omega director Chris Costakos, president of
E-trade I believe. Plus it was noted Omega is planning internet delivery for T/S 5, and
one message
suggested perhaps another internet product may be announced. Another message said this
may be simply a short-covering rally.
Perhaps Omega will realize it's advantageous to have more outside director's like Chris
Costakos. It's unusual to see a board of directors so dominated by company executives,
especially when these executives are more associated with product delays than anything
else.
One other message said Omega is now saying the delivery of T/S 5.0 will be in the 1st
quarter of 1999, a change from the January 30 date I remembered. Perhaps this has to do
with the release to new customers versus existing customers.
