Andy,
As a shortcut to the question you asked in your email,
I once wrote an EXCEL spreadsheet to do the same
thing using the RAND() function. Has an attached chart
to plot daily equity, since I wanted to see visually what
the effect of changing the '% of total equity at risk' input
would be.
Not as scientific as the answers provided by the math
whizzes on the list, but I got me started. Can send you
a copy if you want.
