Concerning your question about predicting trending vs. range-bound days:
I think you've got most of the answer. LBR says that narrow range days are
often followed
by trend days. The narrower the range or the more of them in a row, the
stinger
the breakout will be. And as you observe after a wide range day the market
in likely
to trade in a range for a while as it did yesterday.
