For those still uncertain about some of the BMI changes-- I received this
today (11/30) from Omega:
Indices will NOT need to be renamed to include the $ prefix. As far as
TradeStation is concerned the index symbology will NOT change. The index
symbols will be renamed by the datafeed prior to the data/symbol reaching
the BMI receiver. Some indices will no longer be transmitted while new
index symbols will be added.
Option symbols will remain the same. The symbology has NOT changed.
BMI stated Friday, 11/27/98, that the change would take place between close
of market (after the settlement prices have been transmitted) Monday, 11/30,
and open of market Tuesday, 12/1.
