Check out www.preferredtrade.com. Stock commissions are 7.75 if you meet
certain requirements, otherwise, I think it's 20. Options are minimum
19.95. I trade oex options, and if you trade exactly on the bid or ask,
I've been getting fills within 4 to 10 seconds. You need to have a separate
RT quote service, although you can get the snap quote for each buy or sell
as you set it up. No cost for the software.
I've only used the service for a week, so these are preliminary comments.
