If you have no clue about direction BUT expect a violent move, all you can do is :
BUY straddles = BUY at-the-money CALL and PUTS or
BUY strangles = BUY out -the-money CALL and PUTS.
risk for both: limited to the premium - still, might be a lot
reward for both: in a big move may be substantial
