Gerald Appel of SignalAlert (516-829-6444), who publishes the very highly
rated Systems and Forecasts newsletter and the Time Trend III system has
done a lot of very good work in this area which stands up well under real
use. He's also wrote a book some years ago: "Winning Market Systems: 83 Ways
to Beat the Market".
