A BMI experience:
As many already know Globex2 stops for maintainence at 10pm and reopens at
11pm some of us, whose database time is EST, have a problem with the new
quotes (after the globex shutdown) has the nextdays time stamp so the quotes
go into a black hole(10/21) because TS knows it is still tue 10/20 but the
incoming data is stamped 10/21 and is not chartable due to the mixup. Some
how the offset time in TS is unusable. This problem involves no updating of
the bid/ask as well so the program is unusable until 10/21. So I guess a
long nap from 10pm to 12:01am is in order.
Question: Any possible solutions? Shutdown TS and Server during the globex
shutdown and reopen afterward? losing an hours worth of data?:(
