I haven't experienced anything untoward =but= I can't help
but wonder =why= this occurs even when running the server in
the OFFLINE mode. I can sort of understand what the server
is doing when run in the ONLINE mode (i.e. polling). Why
does it need to do this when run OFFLINE??? Isn't that the
purpose of having an offline server in the first place? IOW,
in that mode it should be aware that there's no need to
check for an incoming data stream, right?
