Updating Database - HELP

Hi, 

Can someone help. Ive currently imported my current UK share databaseinto
tradestation from Metastock format. The problem is how do I update this
database in Tradestation without having to update a separate database and
importing it back into tradestation?

Is there a program available which can update the Tradestation Database
using Metastock or ASCII file formats automatically ? Also, what we want to
do is be able to use the ChartScan facility on about 3000 stocks. Is this
possible?
