Close but no cigar. I spent considerable time with the folks at Omega. As
you know, since the company did not exist as a public entity it was
impossible to back test. I guess I took them at their word. Leap of faith.
Hey, I took a shot and missed. What can I say. I am sure they will have
something new and exciting at FIA in Chicago. I just won't be in there
booth.
Your phrase Omega Luv it or Leave it, kinda reminds of the red neck slogans
I saw during the Vietnam War. Now we are opening franchises in Vietnam and
they are making shirs while Yanks are being laid off. Wonder, what those red
necks would say now. And yes, I do not believe in backtesting because
everyday is different. I do believe backtesting can offer some insights. And
keep you out of trouble. If I believed I back testing I would simply buy the
new latest and greatest system being hawked to the public. By the way, what
system did the hedge fund that the FEd bailed out use?
No need to check your brain at the door just becasue you are a trader.
