A 'Thank You' to the floor brokers

Folks:

We've all been critical when speaking about the crummy service we've recieved
when trying to execute in these hectic markets, whether it's how long it took to
get our fills or the price we finally paid to get the right position on [or
off]. I wanted to take a moment this morning to thank the CME Eurodollar pit for
the fine fills  I recieved today. I had a limit price in the pit and when I
decided that the price was unlikely to get to my order, I called and cancelled
and replaced my limit order with a market order. The fill was fast and the price
was good. And quite unexpected, the floor broker called me back about two
minutes later and improved the fill. In the euros, unless you are trading
institutional size, I'm sure filling my orders [and most of the people trading
for their own accounts] is a pain in the ass, but I was reminded this morning
that there are market professionals filling orders in most of the markets. And
to those professionals, I publicly say, 'Thanks!'
