Try perusing the net auction sites ONSALE.COM and EBAY.COM.
ONSALE clears for manufactures, and is both new and refurbished stuff.
They have mostly computer stuff, but lots of home electronics and other
gadgets,
even sports stuff.
EBAY is for individuals, so is almost always used. CAn get lots of
software at
great discounts. ANd you can find very unusual things. They have all
sorts of categories.
ONSALE has been selling HP Omnibooks for roughly $1000.
