 MEM, if any ?...

MESA and MEM are originally the same.
Mesa means "Maximum Entropy Spectrum Analysis", a trademark from John Ehlers
who specialised for years on the JP Burg Algorithm, known as MEM (Maximum
Entropy Method).

Ehlers has do an extensive work on Mesa / Mem for years, popularized it in
TAS&C Magazine with intelligent and affordable articles regarding to
applications of the code.

Previously,MEM had been introduced in the same magazine by Anthony Warren, and
these past articles are very interesting as they deal more in depth with the
Mem concepts regarding Power Spectrum, poles, data sampling .
I suppose that John Elhlers has internally solved for the MEM parameters to
produce the Mesa software.

Some yars ago, we had translated the MEM basic code from A.Warrren into a TS
DLL, but it seems that there were some mistakes in it (several fix appeared in
some late issues).
We have coded it again from Numerical Recipes, and a free trial version will
be available from our web.

Normally, it was scheduled for today, but again, I'm a little bit late to
finish the new version of the web site.

Sincerely,
