one way to minmize skid on breakout systems is to take the signal with
a 1 lot, then wait for a retracement below your entry price, but still
within your signal parameters and away from your stop, and get another
lot. now you have a 2 lot position with an average negative skid.
breakout systems see prices retrace to, and sometimes beyond the
breakout, a large amount of the time. even if you don't get filled on
the 2nd lot, you're still in the trade.
