Bill,
I use a TPort 1515PT.  It's an oldie but a goodie.  It is running under
Windoze 95.

Assuming:
1.  Your com port is set up to address the card.
2.  Your TPort card switches are set correctly for your port.
3.  Your data modem is set up correctly.

You need to:
1.  Install the tport.drv in your \windoze\system directory.
2.  Open your windoze\system.ini and replace the comm.drv=comm.drv
(typically) with comm.drv=tport.drv.  (Best if you just rem out the
comm.drv=comm.drv line when you add the other line)
3.  Reboot
4.  Stand back (kidding).
