BMI (Bonneville) broadcasted a bad date stamp
This may result in the inability to bring up charts, invalid error
messages and expired password messages (even if using a good forever
password). Please follow the instructions below to correct the problem.
To fix a bad date stamp:
1. Close all Omega Research applications.
2. Check the computer clock in Windows, and make sure it reads
today's current day and time.
3. Start the Offline Data Server for BMI.
4. Select the File | Copy Out menu sequence.
5. In the Target edit box, type C:\OMEGA\TS\PASTE\GOODDATA
(provided the application was installed to the C:\OMEGA directory).
6. Enter the earliest day of data previously collected in the Start
Date of Intra-Day and enter yesterday's date (or the day before the bad
Date stamp) in the End Date, using mm/dd/yy format.
7. Click the Add All button.
8. Click OK.
9. After the Copy Out procedure, File | Exit the Offline Data
Server.
10. In the C:\OMEGA\SERVER\BTC subdirectory, rename the 40BONN.DAT
file to OLD40BON.DAT.
11. Delete the following files:
C:\OMEGA\SERVER\BTC\40BONN.IDX
C:\OMEGA\SERVER\BTC\40BONN5.IDX
C:\OMEGA\SERVER\BTC\40BONN5.DAT
12. Restart the Offline Data Server for BMI.
13. Select the File | Paste In menu sequence.
14. If there are no files listed, click the Scan button and select
the C: drive.
15. Select the C:\OMEGA\TS\PASTE directory and highlight the
GOODDATA file and click Auto Paste.
16. After the Paste In process, exit the Offline Data Server and
start the Data Server for BMI.
If the above procedure was completed successfully, you may delete the
old data file (now OLD40BON.DAT).
