CUBS is CME system which supports pit-based broker terminals in S&P and a couple
of ag pits. CUBS has been down more than up during past week or two. A couple of
months ago the CME responded to my inquiry re CUBS to effect that they planned
to do a full upgrade to CUBS, TOPS, and Globex by the end of August. On Friday I
sent a note to the CME inquiring re the extensive CUBS downtime and the upgrade
schedule. I'll advise the list when I receive a reply.
