My historical DJIA chart indicate the answer is that the declines get ever
smaller on the way up (buy the dips!) and ever bigger on the way down (get me
out!). The declines on the way up 70-98 bear remarkable similarities to the
declines on the way up 17-32 ... assume we'll see the same on the way down.
Whether this is the big kahuna or not I don't know, but there appears to be more
on the downside. Frankly, I've been astounded that no decent rally has been
mounted ... as I write this my 5min issues/volume oscillator is running -94%
with 100% representing maximum downside.
