And fix it now, Mr. Cruz. We are all actively trading contracts on the
exchanges. Fix our products now. Telling us you will release a patch after
you
release TradeStation version 5 is not good enough. Give us a patch now. We
trade
for a living and you are threatening our living. We don't want to sue Omega
for
their lack of responsibility, but we will not spend another dime for your
products until we have a version 4 year 2000 patch. And if it takes legal
action
to get you to put your resources where they belong, we will take legal
action.
Enough is enough. Treat us like the good customers we have been and fulfill
your
 responsibility. Now.

Timothy,

Please read my previous posts and do the following:

1)Create all the necessary contracts symbols that you need to collect, even
those that expire after year 2000

2) Uncheck the morning update in the server, and never check it again until
the TS4 patch availability.
You will be able to collect contracts until 123199.
The ptch will be there before ,and TS5 too.

To the best of my knowledge, there is no major risk to uncheck the morning
update, but you may officially verify
this from Omega.
I have done this by accident on a TS machine for months, and the only
inconvenience was that some contracts were not created in time (this is in
fact how I saw that temorning update was unchecked).

You can maybe consider to set days to collect to a higher value in the
portfolio, maybe 5000.
You will lose the ability to build the 5 min datafile during the morning
update. But that's all.

3) Please give us a rest on Omega List with your lawsuits against Omega, and
focus on other topics of interest.

4) Try to see with your lawyer if he could be employed to an intelligent task
to replace this one.

Difficult, I know, but could be feasible.

Sincerely,

Pierre Orphlelin
