Afraid no help with Omega products - Omega decided to purchase a closed server
for TS5, so users will be limited to whatever developers/products Omega decides
to bless. Fortunately, there are something like 20 developers (including several
majors) which are now using the UMDS. It's my understanding that the basic UMDS
included with the product costs the developer nothing but provides a single API
to access all of the major feeds: Signal, BMI, DTN, PC Quote, Comstock. Basic
UMDS supports the product with which it is shipped. Users can purchase an
upgraded version for around $300 which will feed multiple trading products. UMDS
will run as an NT service, uses very little CPU time to capture everything,
backs itself up every minute. Should run extremely well on lesser machine than
you are running.

See www.uniserv.com for UMDS specs, availability and supported products. I'm
waiting
anxiously for TradeLab www.sciapp.com and would like to be able to use Fibonacci
Trader www.fibonaccitrader.com alongside. Given TL's architecture, I suspect
whether or not FT is available via UMDS feed, there will be lots of fib/gann
add-ons available.
