I found Win 98 to be less stable than 95 when multitasking with TS 4 and
other programs. I switched back to 95 using the uninstall feature and have
been digging out of the problems caused ever since. Be forewarned that the
newer versions of accessory programs remain.
I am using a SCSI controller as well as a Syquest drive on the parallel
port, so my system is sensitive, all interrupts being assigned.
Unfortunately, while I was backed up, it was on the Syquest drive which is
now inaccessible.
