NFA FINES AND EXPELS JACOB BERNSTEIN AND MBH COMMODITY ADVISORS
May 11, Chicago - National Futures Association (NFA) expelled Jacob
Bernstein and MBH Commodity Advisors and jointly fined them $200,000 after a
hearing. MBH is a commodity trading advisor Member of NFA located in
Northbrook, Illinois of which Bernstein is an associated person (AP).
The Decision found that MBH and Bernstein used misleading promotional
material, emphasized profit potential while downplaying risk, represented
that futures trading is appropriate for everyone and used hypothetical
trading results without the required disclaimers.
NFA is a congressionally authorized self-regulatory organization for the
U.S. futures industry.
