Re: Larry Williams second Income?

I think that it's great that Larry Williams is on this list. While I'm only
vaguely familiar with his work, he is one of the most renowned TA guys in the
business, however one may feel about his business practices. It's a shame that
many people here have such a degree of contempt against those who sell systems
and trading advice. While I wouldn't consider paying anyone for this material,
and haven't been too impressed with this stuff generally, I still can respect
others who extend the business of trading to providing such services. We are
all in business essentially, and it seems that there is an attitude of disdain
among many of us toward those who find success in this end of the business,
while we look down upon them as charlatans and scavengers. The road of trading
will always be scattered with dead bodies - and it would seem to me that those
providing trading assistance may actually reduce the body count rather than
contributing to it. Those who fail in spite of this help probably lack what it
takes personally - be it capital, intelligence, resolve, courage, or whatever,
and there is only so much anyone can do anyway. I don't doubt that there are
those naive enough to think that trading can be a business in a box - few
traders probably appreciate the difficulty of the task initially anyway.
However, people do succeed at this to be sure, and as long as those selling
these services and systems do not intentionally misrepresent it, then fine.
They are already under a higher degree of scrutiny and regulation as opposed to
most other types of business, and if they can manage to be successful at this
without using deception to do so, then the best of luck to them.
