Robert,
I have been doing the same for years with no ill-efects on either the box
or the PC. My BMI box does does not get warm and my PC stays realtively
cool though. I think the box by itself will stay relatively cool but your
PC may be heating it up. If you're concerned about the heat of your PC, I
would look into buying another internal fan. I need data around the clock
to trade during the day. And even if you don't, some days you may not get
up in time to beat the market you trade which means you might not be able
to trade.
My advice is to leave it on around the clock and find some way to keep both
units cool (fan, etc.)
Good Luck,
Brian

Subject: Just full of questions I am
I run my computer and BMI box on all the time day and night and both seems
to get pretty warm. If your not night trading and don't care about
gathering data after session 1 is it better to cut both Computer and BMI
box off at night are does it matter?
