Hi Guys,
Mr. Mermer, you should have keep your cool and just privately
reprimand Andy,and
maybe a little warning, this should have been in the first place. I am
sad because I thought
a list like ours should be a free exchange of ideas, anyway the truth
is, even if someone
posted some code, I am sure very few people seriously look at it, so
whatever damage
to system developers is minimal, for me its like government scientists
exchanging some ideas
and some of it might be top secret, its just a leak, I don't think there
is malice like "hey guys,
you don't have to buy anymore, just download this !". Also a lot of
members trade differently, daytraders, position traders,hedgers and
fundmanagers, everyone is just looking for ideas to apply
in their own trading.. So, some are not interested in the postings not
related to their specific work.
Usually many systems and indicators are not applicable to different
traders,anyway.Really whenever I see some codes, I feel thinking like
there's nothing new in this world anymore. Also if I ever get hold of a
system and it really made money for me, I sure am going to contact the
developer, gladly paid him financially and otherwise. Any threat I fear
will dampen the(as we are being monitored by
the governmnet)free exchange of ideas(once restrained) where we can all
grow. If you are not a fraud, your attitude should be, will my system
pass this test of fire and scrutiny of real traders? Or should you exist
only in a world or to a list populated by really newbies, asking about,"
Duh, can anyone explain to me about about moving averages?"
