The first time I locked onto K2?? (locked onto some satellite but it didn't tell
me if it was K2), the download did not take. The second time I locked onto K2,
the download did take and I was unable to lock onto it again as stated in
instructions. Rather than repointing the dish away from and back to K2 (and
risking not finding it again) I simply unplugged the LNB for the required 5+
seconds). I then managed to find SBS6.

With SBS6 so far east of G4, I had to move my dish from 2nd floor deck on east
side of house to woods on west side of house, so I had no guidence relative to
the original G4. IMHO the whole project of hitting two different satellites,
which do not identify themselves, at two different azimuths and elevations in
correct order is guess work. I lucked out!!! My 3rd receiver seems to have
survived the rigors of UPS, woods, reprogramming by K2, and reprogramming by DTN
so I am now up and running.

FWIW, a source at DTN told me that fewer than half of the realtime customers
have been able to transition to SBS6. Apparently G3, which DTN switched to for
non-realtime subscribers, did not have the ability to work with existing boxes
without replacing the chips. If the difficulites persist in transitioning
realtime customers, I have to wonder if DTN will not be forced to switch to G6
which has been moved into G4's former location. I also have to think that the
financial impact of the satellite debacle will weigh heavily on DTN.
