Thank you for your response.

Regarding TS waiting for the close of the bar to execute, that is
exactly what is happening.  My next question is how to use a system most
effectively.  For example, if you have a system that generates a buy
when current price goes above a certain point (a buy stop), you would
want to execute the order as soon as the price reached that point.

If the system waits until the bar closes, the price may be much higher.
Am I looking at this all wrong?
